ProofCam Terms of Use

Effective June 22, 2026

ProofCam is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the app is also covered by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA); these terms add ProofCam-specific points and do not replace it.

Apple's Standard EULA applies

Unless ProofCam provides a separate custom agreement, your license to use ProofCam is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). You can read it at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. The points in these Terms supplement that agreement.

What ProofCam does

ProofCam adds a date, time, GPS location, address, and an optional note onto your photos using your device's clock, GPS, and connection. It is a record-keeping tool for your own use.

Accuracy — credible, not official proof

Stamp details depend on your device clock, GPS signal strength, and whether you are online. Location and addresses can be approximate, and time depends on your device settings. ProofCam is meant for your own records. Do not rely on a ProofCam stamp as legal, official, or guaranteed proof of where or when a photo was taken.

Your responsibilities

Use ProofCam lawfully and only to photograph things you are allowed to photograph. You are responsible for the photos you take and how you use them.

ProofCam Pro

ProofCam Pro is an optional one-time purchase made through Apple's In-App Purchase and managed by Apple. The free tier adds a ProofCam mark to photos and limits how many photos you can stamp per day. You can restore a previous purchase from Settings.

Provided “as is”

ProofCam is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent allowed by law and by Apple's Standard EULA. We are not responsible for lost photos, missed stamps, or decisions you make based on a stamp.

Changes

If these Terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
